We live in a world obsessed with more. More steps in our routines. More ingredients in our formulas. Even more promises on the label.
But at myAuthentic, we believe less is more – especially when it comes to your skin.
What is Minimal Skincare?
Minimal skincare is exactly what it sounds like: a simplified, intentional approach to skincare that focuses on a few proven ingredients rather than long lists of chemicals. It’s about giving your skin only what it needs – and nothing it doesn’t.
This isn’t just a trend. It’s a response to the overwhelm many people feel when navigating complicated skincare routines. And for people with sensitive, reactive, or problem-prone skin, minimalism isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity.
Our Approach
Our facial mist is made using just three things: salt, water, and electrolysis. That’s it. It’s pure hypochlorous acid – something your body naturally makes to heal and protect. It’s soothing, antimicrobial, and incredibly effective at calming irritation and supporting the skin barrier.
Our cleansing foam shares the same foundation – but with the addition of a tiny amount of natural surfactant. That’s what creates the soft foam and helps lift away residual oil and impurities. No fragrance. No unnecessary additives. Just the essentials.
Why It Works
We’re often asked, “How can something made from just salt, water and a touch of surfactant actually work?”
The answer lies in our skin’s own biology. The fewer ingredients you introduce, the fewer opportunities there are to trigger irritation, allergies, or imbalance. Our products support the skin’s natural healing process instead of overwhelming it with active after active.
Skincare, the Way Nature Intended
We didn’t build this brand to ride a trend. We built it out of frustration – with complicated products, confusing routines, and a beauty industry that often sells insecurity in pretty packaging.
At myAuthentic, we stand for clarity, calm, and care. Our products are gentle enough for children, but effective enough to help with conditions like acne, rosacea and eczema.
Minimal skincare is more than just a pared-back formula – it’s a shift in mindset. It’s about trusting your skin to do what it’s meant to do, and choosing products that support it – not stress it.
